Those who speak Spanish will recognize in the name, the emphasis on its sprint ability, what alludes to the again significantly increasedengine performance. The roundish design of the predecessor will continue, however, the rear spoiler can be hidden now, what its appearance benefits when it is stationary.
The Corrado owes its origin to the model policy for the Golf. Which has been changed significantly in its second version and so one take even the chance with its sister model. The result is a further enlarged interior compared to the Scirocco and a range of engines up to thenewly developed VR6 and G60. Nevertheless, perhaps this is the reason to notice slightly emotionless randomness, which one VW even now still (2006) accuses. He has no direct successor, but 2008 is planned a bold design.
